Originally from El Paso, TX played for Purdue University. By her senior year, was instrumental in moving the Boilermakers from 10th in the Big Ten to tied for 1st during regular season.
During college, studied abroad at Oxford University. Post grad, played Satellite Tournaments and on the Professional Tour. Was the Assistant Coach for the Long Beach State Women's Tennis Team for 10 seasons. Helped capture the Big West Conference Title seven times, six of which were consecutive. Coached nationally ranked individual players as well as doubles teams.
Has taught at Beverly Hills Tennis since 1999. Headed the Beverly Hills Tennis Summer Camp for five years. Named the General Manager and Head Pro in September of 2009.
Competed in the 19th World Maccabiah Games in Israel in July 2013. Bronze medalled in both singles and mixed doubles.

YuYu Myinttun was born in Yangon, Myanmar. Her father was a professional tennis player ranked #1 in Myanmar who taught Foreign dignitaries and introduced her to the game. She has 11+ years of coaching experience with players of all levels. Her tennis knowledge was built over all the years of competing at the highest level both in singles and doubles in the Juniors, College Division I, and Women’s Open categories. She has coached top juniors that are competing and ranked currently in USTA Southern California Division She is passionate about sharing her knowledge and expertise to her clients and inspire them to better enjoy the game of tennis; she believes that discipline and dedications are paramount, and that the key foundation to become a successful all-court player requires technique, plyometrics/fitness, flexibility, and regular emphasis on mental strength. Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Alfredo has been playing tennis for 17 years. He was nationally top ranked in Venezuela, played national tournaments there, and also played ITF tournaments. Alfredo received a scholarship and moved from Venezuela to Campbellsville, Kentucky where he attended Campbellsville University and played #2 doubles and #4 singles. While he was there, they won nationals in 2012 and 2014. He was champion of character and received all academy award. He worked in Portugal as a tennis coach before moving to Los Angeles. Starting his tennis journey in France at age 5, he became a junior ranked player in international tournaments across Europe. Known as "The Tennis Doctor" Mo started playing tennis at the age of 3 in Egypt, but stopped shortly after migrating to the United States in 1999 at the age of 10. He continued tennis in highschool, ranking #1 for his varsity team, and went on to play for the University of Houston for a couple years after. Although he has only 4 years of teaching experience, his tennis knowledge is that of a veteran. He is USPTA, CPR and Safesport certified. His coaching methods consist of technique fixes while having fun. Why do they call him the tennis doctor? Lee-Shawn is currently the Junior Competition Program Director.Lee-Shawn is from Oklahoma where he was ranked #1 in Oklahoma and #1 in the Missouri Valley the Boy's 12's and 14's. Throughout his junior career, Lee-Shawn was ranked top 30 nationally which garnered him a full scholarship to play Division 1 tennis at Wagner University. While at Wagner, he played #1 singles and doubles and helped lead the Seahawks to their first Northeastern Conference final.Prior to becoming a member of the Beverly Hills Tennis Coaching Staff, Lee-Shawn ran the Tournament Training Program and High Performance Program at Tompkin's Tennis in the San Francisco Bay Area. Lee-Shawn worked closely with some of the best junior talent in Northern California, providing many players with national exposure.Lee-Shawn brings with him a wealth of high performance tennis knowledge as well as on court practical strategy. While at Hampton University, Basil was the 2016 Rookie of the Year and the 2018 Most Valuable Player in the Big South Conference. Scott Crichlow is originally from the Northeast, growing up in Boston and then living in New York City following completion of a dual-degree Physics and Electrical Engineering program at Seton Hall University, where he was awarded a four-year tennis scholarship. Upon completion of his studies, Scott decided to pursue his passion for tennis at the professional level, competing in many Futures and Challenger events.
His playing prowess enabled him to be hired as a hitting partner for members of the Chinese Federation Cup team at the 2000 U.S. Open, a hitting partner for American Davis Cup member Vince Spadea at the 2001 U.S. Open, and in 2001 earned a spot as a featured player and co-star in a nationally televised Lincoln-Mercury commercial starring John McEnroe for that year’s U.S. Open, as well. He has coached at the Division I collegiate level at his alma mater Seton Hall, and coached the Fairleigh Dickinson University Men’s Team to an NCAA National Championship Tournament berth.
Scott has been at Beverly Hills Tennis since 2003, teaching students of all ages and levels. Since first moving to Southern California he has been instrumental in the development of numerous juniors who have gone on to the collegiate and professional ranks. Scott currently does coaching stints on the ATP Tour, working with highly ranked players at top events, including the grand slams.

Jonah Malkin, a Los Angeles native, has been affiliated with Beverly Hills Tennis for over 20 years, having played since the age of five. He competed in USTA Open tournaments as a ranked junior player in Southern California, as well as in high school, where he captained his Division 1 high school tennis team. He received scholarships to play collegiately, but instead opted to pursue a traditional college experience and attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communications. During his four years with the Badgers he competed on the university’s competitive club tennis team.
Now a USPTA certified instructor, Jonah has been teaching at Beverly Hills Tennis since 2019 and has accumulated over seven years of coaching experience with both kids and adults of all levels. Through his positivity and encouraging style, Jonah excels at cultivating fun tennis environments while helping his clients reach their tennis goals and elevate their games.

Rob’s background is unique in that it doesn’t include any previous paddle or raquet experience. He comes from a competitive basketball background, playing at the collegiate level in Santa Barbara and overseas in Europe. He found pickleball in late 2019 and has quickly progressed into a 5.0/Pro player. After years of being a basketball trainer/coach, Rob had a smooth transition into becoming a Pickleball instructor. Rob is certified by the Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR) and has taught for over 2 years and ran clinics before joining our team. Rob travels around the world playing and teaching pickleball and competes in tournaments year-round, including stops along the APP and PPA Pro tours. His love for this sport also influenced him to start his own pickleball lifestyle apparel brand, NVZ (Non-Volley Zone). Besides being sponsored by NVZ, Rob is also sponsored by Incrediwear and is currently negotiating with a major paddle company.Contact

Jerry was a member of the US Junior National Water Polo Team and went on to play college level water polo. He represented Team USA in Triathlons and competed in several 24 Hour Adventure Races. Jerry played tennis for 15 years, until picking up picklelball in 2019 and has not picked up his racquet since. In his first year competing, Jerry found himself medaling in his division on center court at the PPA Championships in Las Vegas. In Decemeber 2020, he competed at the US Nationals PIckleball Championships at the famed Indian Wells Tennis Garden. Most recently, he won 2 Gold Medals at the PPA Red Rock Open in Utah. Jerry represents TEAM NVZ and is a member of the PPR and USAPA. He graduated from Pepperdine University with a degree in Business and started his own Public Relations firm with clients like Sony Pictures, Paramount Pictures, and star Athlete Rob Gronkowski.Contact
